Duncan Herrington joined Raymond James in 2016 to form and lead the Activism Response & Contested Situations team, based in the New York office.

Previously, Mr. Herrington served in Credit Suisse’s contested situations practice, advising both domestic and international clients across all sectors. Prior to Credit Suisse, he was an M&A lawyer at Paul Weiss Rifkind Warton & Garrison, based in its London office.

Combined he has over 15 years’ transactional experience, specializing in advising clients about shareholder activism, takeover defense, contested M&A and corporate governance matters.

Mr. Herrington has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an M.B.A. from London Business School. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the State Bar of California.
